Life Update #8

Sooooo…. I’ve changed my topic from psychoanalysis to feminism and I think it’s really fascinating how the science of this will all work out in the end. I am currently taking two classes every semester so I’m sort of a part time/full time student still at the University of Guam only getting an MA degree and this will probably take me another four to five years or so. Buuuut…. Here is my thesis proposal and I may be taking the classes that can probably be applied to my thesis and my theory. So, here goes! Reminder for you all to hear: We may not be the A+ students we wish to be but as long as we’re going, we’ll get there…. ; ) (Winks)

Mind you…. My MA thesis proposal will reflect on the actual thesis in this class so I’m going to go with my guts and see where this goes. My proposal is not finished yet but I need two pages of chapter descriptions. Ciao!

Academic Evaluation

If any of you have an advisor for college, always check your academic evaluation sheet with your advisor, then plan out the classes you wish to take. For the re-up, college is intense so get some note pads or a planner and plan out your day along with your college classes. I’m a junior who is soon becoming a senior next year of Summer 2019. Then I’m going for my masters degree but first, I always have to get an advisor beforehand so I can get the classes I need.

Loss & Death

What it means to lose someone is that they don’t just sometimes die in your life, it means they have become unattatched. Looking at it this way is unhealthy because when you lose someone, the pain is still there and it hurts more. One way of looking at the bright side is that when you lose someone they are making you a new path to follow or a lesson to learn as you go along the way. Staying away from other people with good characteristics is not going to help you. Socialize and do more activities. Stay away from people who are going to make you look bad or hurt you. Always remember that the people who have lost you are the people who are going to make way for better people. So in other words they may have gotten the best of you; but they lost you, you didn’t lose them.

Death is another subject when you lose someone early in life that means that they were trying to live their best lives and at least you were there to see it through. When a family memebr dies it is okay to mourn and cry out, when a friend dies at least you take a part of them that stays in your heart; just like families.

Stress

It’s not everyday that a person doesn’t stress out. Just remember that everything is going to be alright. You are not responsible for your own stressors. It’s not a bad life, it’s just a bad day and there will be many other bad days but you can always make up for them by grabbing some popcorn, a hotdog and a movie. Remember also that there are other people stressing out so they may try to get the best of you only because they are stressing out too. Take a nap or listen to music. It’s not a bad life, it’s just a bad day.

Suicide

Don’t think for once that you don’t contribute anything to the world. You may contribute something to another person’s life without even knowing it. Also if you don’t believe it, think of when your band’s favorite album will come up, think of a movie people like yourself would like to see. Write down a list of all the things you like or would like to do. Do them! Make a bucket list! Go on and do the things you love doing….. Life is too short to waste on a blank void of nothing while your body’s on the deathbed, so think about it.

Popularity In College

To all my chicks and dawgs out there! There is no such thing as popularity during college.

1 College is serious.

2 It doesn’t matter where you’re from as long as you know you’re doing okay.

3 Always remember that you’re always going to have to follow a plan for your bachelors or masters degree.

4 You have every right to ask questions.

5 Speak up! You’re doing fine just stay on the subject.

6 Importante! Do the readings.

7 If you feel you can do it without the readings to do a paper, take notes. Always.

8 Remember to stay on top of your game.

9 It’s okay to ask questions.

Relationships In College

Remember that you can always have a relationship in college and outside of the institution. But, if you are stressing out, use time management with a planned day using things such as a pen and planner. You can bring the relationship inside college but don’t forget that you also have a life outside.
