The Little Prince

There was once a boy who lived in a very strong fortress; who held his walls so high that no one could get in. It happened a long time ago when he met a girl with a paper castle. They were both young and very innocent and he would always protect her from everybody’s bullshit. Sometimes the boy would barely smile, but when she was having fun he would smile from afar and look on yonder treading for the dawn.

Once there was a pirate who tried to steal the girl with the paper castle and everyone he knew, knew that he loved her for the pirate almost got into a fight with a nobleman who just happened to see the girl on top of a very high garden wall wanted her. So the small prince with his wall as a high fortress carried the girl with the paper castle away from every detail of the problem for he knew the nobleman and his lady wanted to harm her.

So, the small prince knew what he had to do. Protect her.

Whenever it was time to part, the little prince would be bewildered at how much she had wanted to stay with him when he was young.

The little prince and the girl with the paper castle soon grew up and when he asked her to tell him the future, with bright eyes, she would always reply; to him because she thought there was an answer to everything.

Soon they met demons along the course of their path that tried to rip them apart. Sadly, they signed their souls away into what was called life and the girl with the paper castle and the boy with the very high fortress almost fell when the king, his father had left.

There comes a time when in every boy’s life, when his memory comes in flashes. He kept to his demons so much that whenever the past caught up to him a demon would evolve. Essentially, and you know what I was thinking, the little prince who was not little anymore had demons inside his fortress where they climbed so high up into the lair that the girl with the paper castle wept for he couldn’t stand to part with his demons for his demons loved him too. Soon the girl with the paper castle would become one of them. But the girl with the paper castle would not give up. She knew the king was in danger and so was the little prince. She knew the past would have killed him and the king so she begged him to marry her but he had not been reading the letters that she had sent to him.

Soon they were both separated.

But fate came and do you think that the universe fights for souls to be together?(1)

Well, the small prince who was now king held her in his arms and made love to the girl with the paper castle every night. Reassuring her that everything will be okay. If love could have saved us we could’ve lived forever, (2) she thought to herself. Soon his demons slipped into an abyss and he knew he would love her for forever. So she got her paper castle and built her garden walls so high so that she would protect him. The universe had fought for them to be together, and he loved her so much that he assured her and she had assured him that they would always be together forever in both their  hearts and in their minds; for he fought for the girl with the paper castle. He fought for his freedom to be with her and soon they lived a life that was not less, but they had lived a life of fulfillment. In other words, they somehow both became two demons of hellfire and lived happily ever after; wallowing into the mystic.

The answer was to go back to the past and reconcile it; to fix things. And that is exactly what the little prince did. he reconciled with all his sorrows and married the girl with the paper castle and he never had to worry in his life again.

But sometimes in reality, life doesn’t end that way.

The little prince married another woman and the girl with the paper castle had already moved on. After all, fairytales were not meant to be real or are ever meant to last.
