Colors

I dream of you in colors that don’t exist. You put color into my black and white-washed world. You make machine hearts work and ice cold winters melt. You make my skin tingle and my heart beat when I’m with you to thee extent of a halt, but you understand what I know because you know you’re my world when it crumbles, the silver lining to my clouds when the universe comes apart only for that silver lining to glue back together those shattered pieces. I didn’t think I would see you this way and I never thought I would love again until you pried back into my heart and opened my soul.
